    Starting from the end of March to early April, Japan is surrounded by the beauty and scent of Cherry Blossom. Cherry blossom is also known as “Sakura” in Japan. Spanning from Okinawa in the South to the north most Hokkaido, everywhere in Japan is in the ocean of Sakura. “Hanami” was one of the most important Spring events in Heian Era and it explains the Hanami traditions in Japan nowadays. Shinjuku Kyoen, Tokyo, Arashiyama and Kyoto are some of the most popular spots to enjoy the Cherry blossom; these places usually get jam packed during the blossom season.
