Regarding the collecting of storage fee for Japan export shipments

Thank you for your continued trust and support.
We have been providing free of charge bonded warehousing for export shipments to our customers to ensure our service quality. However with the recent rise of crude oil prices and depreciation of the Yen, we have to make a hard decision to collect storage fee for export shipments that are kept longer than a certain period of time in bonded our warehouses.
Please kindly refer to the details as follows.
About Storage Fee
We offer free storage of 3 calendar days (move-in day excluded) for outbound shipments in our bonded warehouses. Warehousing fee will be collected from the 4th calendar day after shipments arrive at warehouses.
Effective Date
From May 1st, 2023
Targeted Shipments
Japan export shipments stored in bonded warehouses* for more than 3 calendar days.
* Shipments in our Tokyo and Osaka Business Station are not the target.

Shipper/Exporter in Japan
Charge Amount
(tax-free)
1) Shipment (doc. included): JPY 600/piece/day
