Concerning India Customs Clearance Issues

2017.11.23
  • Dear Customer:

Indian customs started using the EDI method of customs clearance. As a result of this change, shipments to India now require provision of the customs declaration documents of the consignee before the shipment reaches the Indian gateway in order to clear customs, otherwise the shipment will be detained. Please pay attention to this message to ensure your shipment clears customs smoothly.
