Fuel Surcharge for Vietnam Export and Import

Fuel Surcharge for each shipment is assessed on the net freight charge, in accordance with the fuel surcharge percentage.

It applies to services:

Standard Express shipments import to Vietnam and export from Vietnam to all SF International covered destinations

Meanwhile, we are providing the following to you:

Fuel surcharge percentage after discount is available for credit account customers that enjoy freight charges discount.

Please refer to below table for the fuel surcharge percentage:

Example:

If the shipping fee is 10,000 VND and the fuel surcharge rate is 13.5%, the fuel surcharge will be calculated as follows:
10,000 VND x 13.5% = 1,350 VND (rounded to the nearest VND)

Therefore, the total shipping cost = shipping fee + fuel surcharge + resource allocation surcharge.

Remark:

1.The percentage of fuel surcharge is adjusted each month and becomes effective on the 1st day of each month, and the fuel surcharge rate is subject to those published on SF’s official website;

2.The percentage of fuel surcharge is based on the U.S. Gulf Coast (USGC) price for kerosene-type jet fuel published by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) two months earlier. For example, the rate applied in June 2019 is based on the rounded figure of the (USGC) Jet Fuel Price published by the EIA in April 2019; Please refer to EIA's (USGC) Jet Fuel Prices on EIA's website below (https://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/hist/LeafHandler.ashx?n=PET&s=EER_EPJK_PF4_RGC_DPG&f=M );

3.The fuel surcharge table will be updated, if the (USGC) Jet Fuel Price is out of cover of the above table;

4.SF International Express reserves the right to change the fuel surcharge with or without prior notice. Both the amount and duration of the surcharge will be determined at SF International’ sole discretion;

5.SF International Express reserves the right to change or terminate the offer and the offer period.
