Import duties and taxes incurred at destination is set by default to be paid by the receiver/consignee. However, SF Express provides a free service whereby the shipper may choose to pay the duties and taxes on behalf of the consignee. This service is called Delivered Duty Paid (DDP).
DDP service is only offered to credit account customers and for export shipments only.
If customer would like to activate the DDP function, they need to follow the below steps:
1. Inform your respective area sales person that you would like to enable this service and an agreement will be provided together with account opening form.
2. The function will be activated after customer signed back the forms and upon receiving the credit account activation email.

For the shipment that the shipper would like to pay for any incurred duties & taxes, you need to choose ‘Shipper Pay’ at the Duties and Taxes column when you make your order and write down the duties and taxes account (same with the credit account number)
