BIOSET Biosolids Handling / Conversion to Class "A" Sterile Fertilizer |

This process is patented by Bioset, Inc. under U.S. Patent No. 5,635,069, U.S. Patent No. 5,868,942, and other patents pending. The BIOSET Process mixes dewatered solids with lime and a solid acid. This mixture is transferred to a reactor vessel on a continuous basis, where it is maintained under a slight pressure for a minimum of 30 minutes. The exothermic reaction generates temperatures between 150-200ºF. Exiting the reactor, the pressure is reduced and the ammonia, volatile solids, and water vapor are collected and condensed in a water scrubber. |
